I posted to the play store and was asked to post this here. I hope this is where they wanted me to post. The link provided was the support home page. I have added details, that I had no room to include in google play review.
Something has changed recently with the way firefox manages sites accessed by customized links in emails. previously the links would give me access to articles where i have an account. now the sites log me out (gmail when adding an account, mondaq when accessing an article) and tell me to register/login, even though i am registered and the link had an embedded password, or I was already logged in. this is not happening in ghostery. it happens even when site cookies accepted are all accepted. It happens in Firefox for windows (11) as well as Firefox for Android. For the Mondaq website I can no longer read any articles that are in the emails that are sent to me. Within 10 seconds of the article loading the page refreshes and asks me to sign in. This only started happening recently. Previously I could leave articles open in firefox tabs for months, and still access them. Now I can't even read past the first few lines, and all the ones I had saved are lost. As for gmail. I have pinned tabs for my email & calendar. When i "add account' it's supposed to open the additional account in a new tab, which it does. But it also resets the pinned tab to the new account. I'm going around in circles trying to have two gmail accounts open at the same time. In addition when i have a google sheets open in a tab, rather than staying open between sessions (all google sites are in my exceptions for cookie clearing) it requires me to log in again if I've not accessed the sheet again within a few hours. That's even though I'm still logged into the gmail account that is linked to the google drive account that has the sheet. I'm now on windows 11. i don't know if these issues are related to that or to rececent changes/updates (lots) by firefox.
